
Sam Adurogboye, the immediate past General Manager Public Affairs of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has been described as dedicated and honest.
His boss, DGCA, Captain Musa Nuhu made this known at Adurogboye’s 60th birthday, which triples as his retirement and book launch.
Nuhu who led the full complement of directors to the celebration at the weekend said Adurogboye was a hard worker and resource.

during Sam Adurogboye’s 60th birthday, Retirement and Book launch titled ‘Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reporting’ held in Lagos on Saturday.
He said,”Sam is a very dedicated, hardworking and honest staff and he has done the best, he’s one of the good guys that we have.
” He will still continue to provide the service even if he is not in the government system. He came from aviation correspondents. He was one of you and he has come to work for the government, he knows the other side.
“So, he will go back to you and I think he’s a good resource for you to work with somebody who has the inside information and knows the way things work.
“So, we will also continue to work with Sam in the best ways we can do. He is too important to just let him go like that. He is a good resource for us.
Chairman of the ceremony, book launch, Kunle Ekundayo, Managing Director of Drugfield Pharmaceutical Limited described Adurogboye as a steadfast character.

He said as a Christian, the retiring GM ensured that part of him reflected both in work, family and relationships around
Encomiums continued to flow as various directors gave their impression on the retired General Manager.
Captain Chris Najomo of the Consumer Protection and Public Relations Directorate said working with Adurogboye for the short time in NCAA revealed a man of intelligence.
” Before joining the NCAA, I used to think Sam was the Director General. Every communication out of the NCAA carried his name and I wondered, who this Sam was. Working with him however has shown me why there is so much respect for the man.
Adurogboye was the pioneer Public Relations Manager of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), since in 2000 first as Media assistant to the DG.
The book: “Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reportingâ€Â received wide industry acceptance and support from the industry.
Adurogboye who was supported by wife and children as well as friends and family members got the perfect send forth with glowing recommendations from all quarters.
