7Star Global Hangar has recorded a major milestone in regional aviation maintenance following its approval by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) of the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville).
The certification authorises 7Star Global Hangar Ltd to perform base maintenance inspection services on TN-registered aircraft, marking another strategic step in its Pan-African expansion. This development allows the company to handle heavy checks, structural inspections, and component servicing for Congolese operators.
According to Chief Executive Officer 7Star Global Hangar Ltd, Engr. Isaac Balami, the approval reflects the organisation’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and global maintenance standards.

“This approval is a testament to our consistent pursuit of excellence, safety, and compliance with international aviation standards,” Balami stated.
He added that the certification strengthens 7Star’s status as a trusted MRO hub serving airlines across Central and West Africa.
The achievement is also expected to improve regional aircraft turnaround time and reduce maintenance-related delays. With rising demand for intra-African air travel, 7Star Global Hangar’s expanded certification ensures operators can access affordable, quality maintenance within the continent.
Aviation analysts believe such cross-border recognitions encourage regulatory collaboration and reduce Africa’s reliance on overseas maintenance centres. The approval aligns with African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) initiatives promoting regional cooperation and industry self-sufficiency.
Engr. Balami further explained that the ANAC Congo-Brazzaville endorsement underscores confidence in Nigeria’s aviation technical expertise and the oversight strength of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
He emphasised that 7Star Global Hangar remains “committed to developing a competitive and safe MRO ecosystem that supports airlines and enhances passenger experience across Africa.”
The company intends to leverage this milestone to deepen partnerships with regional carriers, training institutions, and regulators.
These collaborations, Balami noted, would drive innovation, technical exchange, and sustainable maintenance practices within Africa’s aviation industry.
Over the years, 7Star Global Hangar Ltd has built a solid reputation for quality, reliability, and indigenous capacity building. Its modern facility at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, provides both line and base maintenance for several aircraft types, including Boeing and Embraer models.
Continuous investments in workforce training, tooling, and technology have cemented the company’s place as one of Africa’s most capable MRO providers.
