Transcorp Hotels Plc has appointed Alhaji Garba Abubakar and Adesimbo Ukiri as Non-Executive Directors, effective December 15, 2023.
Alhaji Abubakar, former Corporate Affairs Commission Registrar, was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director.
His reform-minded approach, evidenced by the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, emphasizes business-friendly practices and digitalization.
With over 30 years of corporate experience, Abubakar, has a law degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a member of professional bodies like the Nigerian Bar Association.
Adesimbo Ukiri, CEO of AVON Healthcare Limited, also joins the board, bringing 30 years of professional expertise.
Her track record in driving organizational transformation and leadership excellence is well-established. Ukiri is an alumna of Obafemi Awolowo University. She also holds a master’s degree in strategy and leadership from the London Business School.
