During the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Africa Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) and Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC)with Registrar of AAAU, Mustapha Abdullahi Sheikh, and the Business Development Manager of ENAC, Farbrice Fabre winessed by Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo and Managing Director Nigeria Airspace Management Agency, Engineer Farouk Umar

Africa Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) and Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) have officially joined forces.

Registrar of AAAU, Mustapha Abdullahi Sheikh, and the Business Development Manager of ENAC, Farbrice Fabre, solidified this groundbreaking collaboration. 

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo actively drove the collaboration between both institutions.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed today signifies a strong commitment from both institutions. AAAU and ENAC, representing Nigeria and France, express genuine interest in leveraging their expertise. 

Together, they aim to drive academic advancement, research collaboration, and student engagement in the aviation and aerospace domains.

Mustapha Abdullahi Sheikh, Registrar of AAAU, hailed the collaboration as a pivotal moment. By partnering with one of the world’s leading aviation institutions, AAAU anticipates unlocking new opportunities. These opportunities will benefit students, faculty, and contribute to the global aviation industry’s progress.

The MoU outlines several key areas of collaboration. These include training services, educational curriculum development, virtual lecture delivery, research collaboration, workshops, and conferences. Additionally, shared resources, facilities, and capacity-building programs are part of the agreement.

Implementation of the outlined initiatives is contingent upon a mutually agreed Technical Cooperation Agreement. Both parties are committed to expediting this process. Farbrice Fabre, Business Development Manager of ENAC, emphasized the significance of this partnership. He anticipates a fruitful collaboration that will benefit students, faculty, and the aviation industry.

The collaboration between AAAU and ENAC reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and global cooperation in higher education. As they embark on this transformative journey, both institutions are poised to make enduring contributions to the aviation and aerospace sectors.
