AIRCRAFT belonging to Overland Airways, an ATR equipment parked at the Overland hangar close to the General Aviation Terminal ( GAT) this morning caught fire destroying the millions of dollars worth equipment.
No passengers were on board as the fire raged but fire services have now got the blaze under control.
Information gathered at the scene of the incident was that the aircraft was parked and being powered by the Ground Power Unit ( GPU), as at the time it caught fire.
