At the 60th Anniversary Fellowship Investiture Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, was awarded with an Honourary Fellowship Award by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
The Fellowship held on October 21, 2023, is a recognition of Onyema’s exceptional contributions to the Institute, the banking industry, and the national economy in his role as the CEO of Air Peace.
The Board of Fellows and Practice Licence of the Institute emphasized that the award acknowledges Onyema’s peace advocacy, consistent promotion of broad nationalism, and his efforts in conducting numerous evacuation flights.
Expressing gratitude, Onyema thanked the Institute for the honor and affirmed his commitment to supporting it. He pledged to utilize his commercial entities to positively impact the Nigerian economy. Additionally, he commended the Institute for upholding high standards of professionalism within the banking sector.
This recognition comes on the heels of another accolade for Onyema, who recently received a Doctorate Degree from the Nigerian Defence Academy in acknowledgment of his outstanding service to the nation and humanity at large.
