THE Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Aeronautical Division yesterday congratulated the new Ag Director of Safety Electronics and Engineering Services (DSEES) of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engineer Farouk Ahmed Umar stating that his elevation is a testimony to his managerial competence and uncompromising attitude for good governance.
The NSE in the letter NSE/AERODIV/1609/13 signed by National Chairman, Engineer Bola Akinribido and made available to Nigerianflightdeck.com pledged their support and full cooperation.
The Society while also offering their congratulatory message hailed the choice of President Mohammed Buhari while also asking the appointee not to rest on his oars in ensuring the total transformation of the agency.
The letter in part read,”We are convinced that your appointment is a testimony to your managerial competence and the president’s utmost belief in your ability to move forward the agency in this critical era.”
“We acknowledge your commitment towards promoting a safe, vibrant and efficient aviation industry in Nigeria with your uncompromising attitude on good governance. We therefore commit you to the hands of the Almighty God to strengthen and guide you to success amidst the challenges in your high office.”
“While pledging the full support and cooperation of the NSE, Aeronautic Division, we humbly request that you continue to support us in our activities to promote indigenous participation and local content capacity development in the Nigerian Aviation industry,” the letter concluded
