Nigeria's Minister of Tourism, Ms. Lola-Ade John, and Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Sir Charles Udo, with the Ibom Air team showcasing their 3rd African Travel Quarterly Travelers Awards 2024.

Ibom Air won the ‘Best Airline of the Year’ title at the African Travel Quarterly Travelers Awards 2024. The airline achieved this feat for the third time consecutively.

Held at the National Museum in Lagos, Nigeria’s Tourism Minister, Ms. Lola-Ade John, and Akwa Ibom’s Culture and Tourism Commissioner, Charles Udo, attended.

Mr. George Uriesi, Executive Director and COO of Ibom Air, expressed gratitude for the honor. He states, “We are deeply honored to receive this award once again. We owe this achievement to our loyal customers and remain committed to exceeding their expectations.”

Acknowledging the pivotal role of passengers in Ibom Air’s success, Mr. Uriesi emphasized the airline’s dedication to service excellence. 

In response, Ibom Air announced plans to enhance passenger experience with the introduction of the Airbus A220-300, ensuring superior comfort, reliability, and efficiency.

“We are steadfast in our pledge to uphold the highest standards of safety, comfort, and convenience for our passengers,” affirmed Mr. Uriesi. “Incorporating the Airbus A220-300 reaffirms our unwavering commitment to delivering a world-class service that meets the expectations of our esteemed passengers.”
