Come October 17, Ibom Air will start daily flight services to the Kotoka International Airport, Accra, after revealing plans it will expand its flight network to West and Central Africa.
The Akwa Ibom State Government owned airline, looking to broaden its horizons said Accra has become the first of its planned seven regional destinations.
Ibom Air, according to its Instagram handle, will fly daily from Lagos to Accra and Accra back to Lagos.
The airline’s entry into the route further provides more choices for passengers planning to connect Ghana as well as providing its signature hospitality aboard the aircraft.
Ibom recently announced that it would start operations into seven new countries in Central and West Africa including: Ghana, Liberia, Senegal, Gabon, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire and The Gambia
The airline currently operates two Airbus A220 and five CRJs and with the addition of Accra it increases its route network to seven(7) with plans to acquire additional 10 Airbuses.
