The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said that successful candidates who applied for and participated in the Aviation Security (AVSEC) recruitment exercise last year, May 2015 will soon be invited for interview and other pre-employment procedures.
Managing Director of FAAN, Engineer Saleh Dunoma made this known as he played host to some of the candidates in his office.
The FAAN boss expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by the applicants, adding that the seeming delay in inviting them for the interview earlier was because of the need to observe due diligence in the employment procedure.
Engineer Dunoma also added that successful candidates would be formally notified and invited in batches for training and documentation in line with international best practices for the employment of aviation security officers.
It is worthy of note that since the last recruitment exercise, FAAN has consistently warned the general public and job seekers of rumours of recruitment exercises stating that it only has one authentic website at www.faan.gov.ng and has not carried out any recruitment since the last in May.
