Air Peace, however, followed proper procedures and regulations to ensure compliance with aviation safety standards. Contrary to Sowore’s claims, the airline asserts that the safety of the flight was never compromised in any way.
The statement emphasized, “Contrary to his allegations, the event was reported to the NCAA in accordance with guidelines in Abuja. Furthermore, Air Peace followed the proper procedures in accordance with Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations and relevant safety protocols.”
Additionally, Air Peace reassured the public that there was no impact on performance or flight safety during the windshield crack incident. The airline further explained that windshield cracks are a common occurrence in aviation worldwide and do not necessarily pose any safety threats.
The airline directly addressed Sowore’s claims, stating that there was no panic during the flight in question.

The airline clarified that the cockpit crew discovered the crack on the outer layer of the First Officer’s window.
