Air Peace Limited has acknowledged recent media reports involving its Chairman, Dr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, and Chief of Finance and Administration, Mrs. Ejiro Eghagha. The airline confirms that legal charges against its CEO and CFO, filed by the U.S. Department of Justice, may have caused concerns and wishes to directly address them. “Our legal team is working diligently to resolve the matter, ensuring that the truth is unveiled through due process,” the airline said in a statement.

The charges against Dr. Onyema and Mrs. Eghagha stem from earlier financial accusations that have spanned several years. Despite the expanded charges, both individuals maintain their innocence, and the case is still ongoing in court. Air Peace emphasized that the allegations remain unproven and that its legal team is actively engaged in ensuring justice is served. The airline also reiterated that both parties are cooperating fully with the authorities.

Air Peace assures the public that legal charges against its CEO and CFO will not affect its operations. The airline’s commitment to providing top-tier services to its valued customers continues uninterrupted. “We assure the public that these proceedings will not impact our safety, reliability, or day-to-day activities. The dedication of our team remains resolute, providing exceptional aviation services across Nigeria and beyond,” the airline added.

The airline expressed its deep appreciation for the continued support from its customers and the flying public. As it navigates this period, Air Peace remains committed to upholding its core values of excellence and integrity.
