The second pilot seminar organized by Mamaj Aviation Consult Limited will take place on October 4, 2024, at 12 p.m. at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority annex. The increasing demand for second pilot seminar information has made this event crucial in guiding career decisions for aspiring pilots. The theme for this year’s seminar is “Becoming a Professional Pilot: Benefits and Challenges.” Capt. Chris Najomo will serve as the keynote speaker, providing insights into the industry’s complexities and rewards.

Other notable speakers include Dr. Alex Nwuba, president of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of Nigeria, and Capt. Ado Sanusi, MD/CEO of Aero Contractors. Moreover, Capt. Abdullahi Zubeir, director of airport operations, and Capt. Roy Ilegbodu, MD/CEO of Ark Airlines, will also offer their expertise. The event promises an interactive experience, with pilots from various airlines discussing the skills and training needed for professional pilots.

Participants will explore crucial topics, including the best schools, financial costs, and necessary steps to become a licensed pilot. This second pilot seminar gives aspiring pilots a valuable opportunity to fully understand their desired career path.

The growing demand for aspiring pilots’ information prompted the convener, Joy Ogbebo, to bring together seasoned industry experts. The first pilot seminar in 2019 was organized by Mamaj Aviation Consult in collaboration with the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology.

Held in Lagos, the inaugural event attracted aviation experts such as Capt. Jim Hassan of the Nigerian College of Information Technology and Capt. Arome Soni, formerly of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. Other esteemed speakers included Capt. Ejike Wosu of the Nigerian CAA, Capt. Quincy Owen, and Ajibade Joshua of Air Peace.
