In his new role, Semelas will oversee Airbus’ operations across all divisions in the region, a crucial area for the company’s strategic development.
Wouter Van Wersch, Executive Vice President International at Airbus, stated, “Gabriel’s extensive background and proven leadership make him ideal for leading Airbus in the regions. We expect him to strengthen our presence and partnerships in this key region.”
Semelas commented, “I am honored to take on this responsibility at a pivotal time for Airbus in Africa and the Middle East. I look forward to collaborating with our teams and partners to drive growth and innovation in this dynamic market.”
