Dana Air has partnered with NG Eagle to resolve Dana Air passenger refunds, according to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). The NCAA recently met with Dana Air and NG Eagle to expedite the resolution for passengers affected by the suspension.
The NCAA stated that NG Eagle will handle refunds and airlift passengers who hold valid tickets, ensuring prompt service. Meanwhile, Dana Air will process cash refund transactions, as per NCAA guidelines.
Dana Air’s operations were suspended in April 2024 following an economic audit by the NCAA, halting its services. Many passengers who booked flights before the suspension are still waiting for refunds for canceled flights.
NCAA’s Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs, acknowledged the delays and assured passengers that refunds would be resolved swiftly.
“We understand the inconvenience caused, and we are working tirelessly to process **Dana Air passenger refunds** efficiently,” Achimugu said.
NCAA Director General Capt. Chris Najomo met with Dana Air and NG Eagle to discuss solutions for the outstanding refund issues. “NG Eagle will now handle the responsibility of airlifting passengers with tickets, while Dana Air manages cash refunds,” Najomo confirmed.
This partnership ensures that passengers can either fly with NG Eagle or receive refunds, which Dana Air will oversee. The NCAA emphasized its commitment to resolving the situation quickly, ensuring no passenger is left stranded during the transition.
“Passengers wishing to travel can use their tickets on NG Eagle, while Dana Air processes cash refunds in an orderly manner,” the statement added. The NCAA is actively monitoring the process to ensure timely resolution.
In conclusion, Capt. Najomo reassured the public, “The NCAA will not relent in its efforts until all Dana Air passenger refunds are fully processed and resolved.”
