Medview Airlines also thanked its staff for their hard work and perseverance while awarding them based on the years they have toiled with the airline to greatness, with the Chairman of the Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole going back to memory lane to thank the others who toiled with him from the onset of the dream.

In a question and answer session later, the Medview Chairman urged government not to throw aviation to the back burner as it is the catalyst for growth everywhere in the world stating that the year has not been particularly good for airlines with all the inherent challenges.

That said, Alhaji Bankole  however said that despite the challenges, Medview was opening more routes in the West African region especially with its Monrovia-Liberia and Freetown-Sierra Leone flight services while stating that the flying public should expect more from the airline in 2017.

According to him, the flight service would also improve business activities, capacities and capabilities of people of the two countries. He added that Med-View Airline is in Liberia and Sierra Leone to create jobs for the people of the two countries.

He assured that the airline would be consistent in the new routes, saying the airline would expand in the two countries and provide more jobs for their people.

Speaking at the event, former Managing Director of Skyway Aviation  Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) now Board member m Dr. Olu Owolabi expressed joy and satisfaction at how far Medview has achieved in a short time attributing it to the dexterity and managerial acumen of its chairman.

Owolabi who served in the defunct Nigeria Airways with the Medview boss, described him as a goal getter and problem solving with a midas touch to turn bad situations to advantages.

“ People should not be surprised  to see what is happening today in Medview. Bankole is a specialist in what he does. He is a specialist in hajj, specialist in organization and a specialist in solving problems wherever they may arise.  Unlike other people when they have a passenger problem with their airline, they run away but Bankole goes in to the thick of it to find solutions, that is how he is made up. He is honest and dogged to the core.”
