FAAN set to enhance revenue

In a bold move to improve the revenue base of airports for greater productivity, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Engr. Saleh Dunoma has established a special task force on revenue enhancement. The task force will be headed by the Managing Director himself.

Engineer Saleh Dunoma, FAAN MD

Engr. Saleh Dunoma disclosed this today in Lagos at a meeting with Regional and Airports Managers where he urged them to recover revenue at the point of collection as and when due, with applying  sanctions where necessary.
The Airport Managers were also mandated to step up efforts in recovering debts and initiating non-aeronautical revenue streams in order to meet up with revenue targets based on the Authority’s 2015 approved budget.
During the meeting which was attended by the top management of the Authority, Engr. Dunoma reiterated the Authority’s commitment to delivering services at international standards of quality, in line with its mission statement.

Speaking further, the Managing Director charged the Managers to promote a healthy working relationship between the Authority’s Aviation Security Services and other government agencies at the airports, to discourage misunderstandings between various agencies at our airports.
